This crafty project originated when I was looking for some kind of an outdoor decorative hanging piece to fill in a blank space on the exterior of the lake house. I couldn't find anything that I liked, nor could I find anything close to the size I was looking for (at least 36"-48" in diameter). So, I decided to make it myself. I wasn't sure if it was going to be a big painting or mirror or what, until I was inspired by a big pile of wispy twigs that was pushed to the side into our 'to burn' pile. I pulled them apart, and connected bunches with wire and then connected the bunches to make Spray painted it with a few coats and hung it. As you can see it's been moved around a few times, but I like how it looks beside the side door with the window box twigs and that's where it will stay...I think!
